Avanti and AvantiFlex require a KEYLOK License Dongle, also referred to as a license key, to run.  FreeAXP can be run without a license key.  The Avanti license key defines the number of license units available.  Avanti configurations check available units against requested units before they start.  If sufficient units are not available, an error message is displayed and the virtual Alpha will not start.
